On the plus side, it didn't drip paint, and it was easier than using a normal roller, as I wasn't constantly re-applying paint to it. In the end, I unscrewed the poles, and used a stepladder to finish th. Fortunately this was close to the end of the job, so no major paint spillage. At one point it fell off, and both caps came off. One of the plastic caps kept falling off (fortunately not the side where the paint went in), and the roller would occasionally come out of the fittings. It felt very unstable, and took at least 10 minutes of rolling before paint appeared. I started to paint the hallway ceiling with it, using the attachable poles.
